JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent is responsible for driveline component designs suitable for LCV/utility product and China manufacturing capability, including driveshaft, yoke and spider component family. This individual will work for drivetrain component team in China providing engineering support for driveline component localization and sourcing, new product development, and component manufacturing. The incumbent is expected to support drivetrain parts China sourcing development and supplier process and quality control, including components inspection and validation. The person is expected to work closely with engineers from our US and China teams and to collectively deliver quality drivetrain products and components for the broad construction machinery market Caterpillar serves. The incumbent will demonstrate strong customer focus by staying current with customer needs as well as new technologies, products, manufacturing
